GReddy Emanage And Engine Management Systems

Computers run much of the world today. Autos today may have 50 micro processors built into them that assist with operating everything from brakes to safety features. Car engines are also computerized and computer diagnostics have become second nature to mechanics. Drivers who want to modify the performance of their car back in the fifties might take out that two barrel carburetor and swap out the manifold to install a four barrel Holly that could really light up the tires.
Today however a more likely modification is a piggyback diagnostic system such as a GReddy Emanage system.
GReddy Emanage is manufactured by Trust company, LTD founded in Japan in 1977. GReddy is one of three Trust divisions that design and manufacture high performance parts for racing or just for souping up that little rocket for a faster drive to work. GReddy Emanage is one of several engine management systems GReddy makes.
The purpose of the GReddy Emanage system is to alter fuel flow, ignition characteristics, air flow and so on. Like all engine management systems, the GReddy Emanage must be wired into the stock harness. On some models a manufacturer's harness makes this a plug and play operation. On cars where there is no stock harness, installation is not a job for amateurs because a mistake can fry the car's electrical parts or damage the GReddy Emanage system. It is best to have a professional wire it up. After the GReddy Emanage computer is correctly wired into the car's systems, it is ready to use. It connects to a laptop computer by a USB cable and this enables the driver to tune the engine's performance to the anticipated driving conditions, be they race track or street.
GReddy Emanage upgraded an already excellent system to the GReddy Emanage Ultimate. This new model provides even more options for modifying performance. Additional GReddy parts can be added to the engine and wired into the GReddy Emanage Ultimate such as a pressure sensor or a wide band air/fuel meter. Trust company was founded and is managed by racing drivers so GReddy Emanage can be trusted to provide an edge on the track. The GReddy Emanage Ultimate has an MSRP of $680 dollars and the harness costs an additional $120.
The GReddy Vmanage is another of the Trust company's engine management systems. The GReddy Vmanage allows the driver to alter cam shaft function to control the valves. This enables the driver to optimize power or fuel economy. The GReddy Vmanage uses the same software package as the GReddy Emanage Ultimate so all modifications to engine performance can be performed from one laptop computer. Valve function can be optimized according to driving conditions so no matter the load or the RPMs being turned the engine can run at maximum efficiency. A GReddy Vmanage system is listed at $649 MSRP plus about another $120 for a harness.
GReddy Emanage systems are cutting edge racing computers. These engine management systems allow customization of engine performance without getting greasy because they modify computer controlled functions of the engine from inside the car on a laptop computer. GReddy Emanage updates are even available for download from their website. Every driver serious about racing or even just a daily commuter who wants to optimize their engine's performance will want to check out the GReddy products.
